CINDY GILMORE

Cindy Gilmore established CLC Paralegal Services in 2001. Cindy represents more than 15 years of experience in the paralegal field. Employed as a paralegal with a major Toronto based law firm, Cindy worked in the area of business law for more than 13 years, working directly with lawyers, large corporate clients and all levels of government. Cindy handled due diligence research, Ontario and Federal incorporations, amendments and amalgamations, extra-provincial registrations for businesses looking to expand into other provinces, as well as annual returns and filings.

In 1992, Cindy was selected by the firm to create and develop a specialized corporate position known as Personal Property Security Act (“PPSA”) Paralegal. As a result of her knowledge of the legislation and related regulations, experience and expertise, Cindy became a resource person for lawyers within the firm with respect to a range of PPSA-related issues, including procedural and priority issues with respect to security agreements.
